What a Hero is a Buzz Lightyear of Star Command comic that was first published in the twenty-first issue of Disney's Comic.
It has also been translated into Portuguese and published in a children's magazine in Brazil.[1] Full scans exist of the Portuguese version.[2]
Overview[]
Team Lightyear are interviewed on TV and asked what it takes to be a hero. The rookies share stories of Buzz's heroism, but when Buzz himself is interviewed, he flees after learning how many people are watching him.

JAYE: And now, live from the third moon of Hollywood, it's the Jaye [unintelligible] Show! And on today's show, we ask, "What does it take to be a hero?" Let's give a round of applause for Booster, X-R, Mira Nova, and their commander–Buzz Lightyear of Star Command!
BUZZ: Um... Thank you. Th-that's not necessary.
JAYE: So, you guys must be full of stories of incredible heroism. After all, you're out there saving people's lives every day. [unintelligible]
BOOSTER: Well, Jaye... There was this one time when Buzz saved the lives of a whole family who were drowning on the water planet of Monsoon. He gave up his own oxygen supply so that they would survive [unintelligible]. It was incredible!
XR: That's nothing! There was this time when we had to get medical supplies across to the other side of the galaxy before the [unintelligible].

- The host strongly resembles Brent Starkisser; however, he is referred to as Jaye.
- The alien warrior resembles Torque; however, he doesn't appear to be the same species.
