King Nova is Mira's father, and obviously the king of Tangea. Throughout most of the series, you will notice that the King is very disapproving of anyone outside his family or circle of close people. King Nova does not approve of Mira being a space ranger. Later in the series he learns to just accept what she does, as there is nothing he can do to change it.
Physical Description
King Nova is a Tangean Royal. He has blue skin and black eyes. A moustache connected with sideburns to his short red hair. Hooked nose and a long chin, he is as tall as any Tangean. He is usually seen wearing the same green suit and can, which is possible a sign of his stature as King of Tangea.

King Nova never approved of Mira being a Space Ranger. In the episode Mira's Wedding, King Nova sets up Mira to be married to Fop Doppler. King Nova did not approve Mira's team to be present. Buzz and the other later stopped the wedding before it finished because Tangean Grounders attacked, withLord Angstrom to overthrow King Nova. As the series goes on, King Nova begins to realize he can't control Mira. So finally, he just starts trying to accept what she does, knowing there isn't anything he can do to change it.
